Yearly 2008 Predictions

Aries (March 21 - April 20) – Finances: You have an opportunity this year to charge off
in a new direction. A separation from financial “pooling” leads you to
a whole new level of spending and earning. Attempting to negotiate your
finances the way you use to is no longer effective and so you must relearn
how to earn and what to do with it. A sense of satisfaction will rise as
you get more accustomed to what you use to perceive as below par. It
isn’t and you know this by the end of the year. You are on your way to
achieving what you have “survived for” all these years. Practicing
simplicity is the only way to move ahead.
Relationship: : The changes that occurred in 2007 will affect
your life for many years to come. Keep this in mind as 2008 progresses,
particularly in the relationship department. What you would have wanted a
year ago seems less than adequate now and so it will be by the end of
2008. The relationships coming this year are there to get you refocused on
what is truly important to you. Look for people who possess the ability to
rise to any occasion and the grace to give you room to grow. A gift of
self comes about mid-year, meaning a gift of knowing and understanding
about your self. This will propel you into 2009 and 2010 very nicely.
Career: The moves you make in 2008 will put you in the
drivers seat with your career. Understand that this means a level of
obligation and planning that you have never dealt with before. Once you
begin you cannot go back so make sure you understand everything you are
committing to before you sign. Your new permanent home in your industry of
choice is waiting for you to find it, move in and get started. Oh yes, and
decorate it too. The joy you find in hard work and perseverance this year
take you by surprise. Who cares if you have to work 12 hour days, you are
doing exactly what you love.
Taurus (April 21 - May 20) – Finances: Getting away is the theme this year. Getting away
from the burden of financial misdirection. Do this in a very calculated,
planned and careful way and it will work. Make the mistake of thinking you
can shortchange someone, miss a payment or jump ship and everything goes
south, quickly. Organizing is at the top of the list-from what really
needs to be maintained to deciding whether you need to move. Look for a
successful retreat of the burden to appear on the horizon in some form by
middle of the year but only if you play your cards well.
Relationship: A long-term relationship is painfully dragging
on, and on and on. Much of this has to do with not facing up to the truth
of what you really want out of life and settling for what sits right in
front of you. Your financial situation is tied to this and so the agony of
an earth sign begins. How do I, what do I, when do I, why should I bother?
You bother because you are in an unhealthy situation and staying means a
slow, uneventful and unfruitful existence. Things will not change unless
you make the effort. Get off your can. An authority figure holds a key.
Career: Minor rattles but nothing earth shattering in the
career department for 2008. Revelations at work mean some changes in your
position and direction. Letting go of a long-term project can lighten
things up quite a bit. Its success is past its prime and needs an
overhaul. Out of the blue events put a new spin on everything by the end
of the year. If you really want a change then look to YOU to make the
shift and not at everyone else to bring it to you.
Gemini (May 21 - June 20) – Finances: Shock and awe aside, when did you get so good at
the money thing? Gemini’s are notorious at being the last of the big
spenders and now you are dealing with finances in a very mature and
successful manner. Even more comes rolling in when a new partnership
enters the picture mid year. This isn’t a huge amount of money, mind
you, just good income in an easy manner and the best part is you are
really enjoying yourself. Take advantage of and examine every opportunity
and idea that comes your way this year and begin planning for future
projects.
Relationship: The last 10 years has been a gradual process of
letting go of ideas about what relationship is. These are ideas planted in
your psyche from childhood and it is finally time to make the last pass to
junk the stuff that does not work for you. Planning this transformation is
like putting a puzzle together when you don’t have a picture telling you
what it looks like to begin with. Your relationships this year center on
informing you of what you want and don’t want. Expect to respond
dramatically to new acquaintances and old friends. Tying the spiritual
into the mix means recognizing that in everyone you meet.
Career: These last few months before 2008 you have been
piecing together a major career shift. You are standing at its threshold
about April/May of 2008 and feeling a bit young and green but steady and
solid too. A sense of family permeates this new effort and a relationship
may bloom easily. You have been given a new sand box to play in and wow
what a difference the re-organized thought and order you have been
practicing makes. This one has the power to float your boat for years to
come.
Cancer (June 21 - July 22) – Finances: Changes to your thinking must be addressed; your
success is dependent on that. You are at a crossroads with the wealth and
possessions issue and if you do not get it under control and shift your
thinking it will drown you. 2008 is the year to do this and success in
this area is highlighted but only if you take the steps to make it happen.
This means self analysis and physical action must work together to restore
the balance you once had. This calls for a lifestyle change.
Relationship: Thinking that there is always a winner and a
loser is preventing you from retaining relationships that have meaning and
support woven through them. While addressing your financial situation,
consider that it might permeate the other areas of your life. Take a look
at how this shows up in relationships and again reconsider a lifestyle
change. I know I have said this already but it is your theme this year.
Are you in charge of your own life or is someone else?
Career: A new mental direction takes you on a journey
this year that won’t be forgotten for quite a while. A new partnership
begins turning your wheels and getting your mojo up a bit. You have a
tendency to see your career self as different than your personal self.
Reworking that idea and understanding that they are extensions of each
other helps you gain some momentum. Deciding there IS a way out is the
first step toward getting out. Then look for that way because if you can
decide it, it will show up.
Leo (July 23 - August 22) – Finances: 2008 is the year to re-structure and re-build in
the area of finances, wealth and prosperity. The decision to “see” all
of the patterns in this area is essential. The decision to accept the
reality and then build better roads to success in these areas has your
plate full for the year. Some of you have begun this process and so the
year will assist you in further cleaning up and building. Others have not
owned up to their misperceptions and so the year gives them plenty of
opportunity to do so. For those still stuck in their rut, the year will
not be friendly to their pocketbook.
Relationship: New beginnings, delightful encounters, potential
to build strong working, supportive relationships abound. Blinders must be
off in order to succeed here and action must be the first consideration to
move this forward. Action means taking yourself outside of your normal
range of motion and putting yourself into the path of others. Sitting at
home stifles any new beginnings that might be hovering. Taking on new
environments by volunteering, taking classes, enrolling in a sports league
or stretching the acting muscle and performing on some level all stir
possibility.
Career: Making a move that seems to be counter to the
direction you have been moving in will stump everyone but you. Leo’s
know that fire and heat burn away the dross and can ignite a passion
previously unrevealed. So if you have a sudden desire to learn to tango,
do so. Revelations in your heart roll you on to a new path in your career.
When you connect with passion your life ignites. Look for major shifts to
become apparent mid-year.
Virgo (August 23 - September 22) – Finances:
Consider first of all what it means to give
birth. Read about and study the process in humans, in industry, in the
arts. Then consider the parallels with your life. If you are feeling like
you are getting nowhere financially, then re-evaluate and think about the
importance and play of waiting. There is nothing wrong with waiting, often
it has greater benefit than most would think. 2008 is about birthing a new
financial pattern, dropping the illusions that you try to copy (why
emulate others mistakes?) and not spending unless it is truly necessary.
Spending to impress is not the way to go.
Relationship: Fast forward motion and lots of sex, creativity,
children, if you want them-I always advocate for safe sex but you may meet
up with someone who already has them- and minor shifts in location and
living situations are all highlighted for 2008. Finding your footing in
all of this will be difficult and you may have to halt the party at some
point just so you can remember what your goals are. A physical move may
initiate this, or a temporary relocation. If you are already matched up
then look for your partner to make an emotional shift that makes this
happen.
Career: A new source of income makes an appearance in
2008. This may call for an actual move (see “relationship” above) in
order to find this. More than likely it is an additional client(s) that
begins hiring you about March of 2008. Someone you are connected to will
not like this situation at all. Frankly, they are asking for a lot when
they require you to stay close to home. Your abilities are needed in
larger circles and this is the time to spread your wings a bit. Hidden in
this move is a new business partnership that will develop later in 2008
and on into 2009 and 2010.
Libra (September 23 - October 22) –
Finances: Time to get it all in order, prune that money
tree, line up the payment plans and choose the direction you want to head.
The potential to clear up and sail out of the storm is available but you
do need to take the steps to make this happen. Focus on where you want to
end up and consider your final goal every time a decision needs to be
made-is this going to benefit me in the end or will it put me 2 steps
back? Careful, informed planning makes 2008 a way out of the dark.
Relationship: It’s not puppy love that makes you tick this
year. Some pretty powerful emotions and relationships are headed your way.
Whether it is work related or love related, the players are mature and
playful, conscious and curious, stimulating and responsible. Sounds like a
dream to me. If you will focus on developing clear and whole desires about
what you want to attract, you will get every bit of it and more in 2008.
No need to push or get verbal about it, use your thoughts in an easy and
relaxed manner.
Career: Transforming can be enlightening, scary and awe
inspiring. Your career and work areas for 2008 will be all of those things
and more. Everyone and their dog will want you on their team. Be prepared
for a list of decisions that will have to be made in motion. That may be
the scariest part of all for a Libra, making decisions in motion. If you
will formulate up front your end goal you can use it to make these
decisions easier and that will take some of the edge off of the process.
Scorpio (October 23 – November 22) –
Finances: Being proactive in your financial sector is at
the top of the list for 2008. What does it mean to be proactive? In this
case it has everything to do with nipping bad habits before they grow -
stop them cold and stop them now. Review your money habits and be honest
about what you are spending your income on and why. Many decisions are
made in this area in 2008 and the indication is it happens in layers. Make
a review every 3 to 4 months to get the maximum benefit this year. In
addition, educate yourself in the area of personal spending, interest
rates, investing, etc. No matter what level of financial slavery you are
at, there is always something new to learn.
Relationship: The year affords you the ability to reverse what
isn’t working. The trick is to be honest about your role in the
relationship before you make any changes. If you are not honest about
this, if you delude yourself or put problems solely onto another person,
you will cloud yourself in illusion and that my friend can cause further
problems. Success in getting away, or literally moving into a new house or
work place is indicated. Build a moment of rest and respite from everyone
during the autumn months. A quick weekend away from the chatter and fuss
will help you stabilize your thinking.
Career: Authority stills rules in your work/career life
in 2008. A crazy mixture of release, stagnation and spilt emotion along
with assistance and gifts from out of nowhere make for a wild ride this
year. Best advice is to be clear about who you are and what you want from
life during this roller coaster ride. There will be moments of focus and
fast forward movement and moments of crisis and emotional decision-making.
If you can stay clear about what is most important to you and what
benefits the whole you can make better choices.
Sagittarius (November 23 - December 21) –
Finances: A new idea about being financially “flush” is
rising into the grey matter you call your brain. This is an innovative,
cutting edge perspective and one well worth investigating. Trying to
perfect this on a very small scale is your goal this year. If you are not
an expert in these matters and are just trying to clean up your financial
record this process still holds true. What would be innovative to you
would be spending within your means. Either way you are oriented, this is
the year to broaden your thinking about finances and prosperity. It’s
not all about money.
Relationship: Further negotiations during 2008 are required but
you finally realize you need to begin marching in a different direction.
Whatever loss you are negotiating over has long since passed and you need
to decide if you really care about it any longer. The opportunity for a
new beginning is right behind you, pushing you to make a move so you can
get on with this new path. Decide what your thinking really is about all
of this, what is the foundation, the intent from the beginning and the
intent now. Plan where it is you want to be and where you want to go once
this is resolved.
Career: Full steam ahead! 2008 is the time to partner.
There is accomplishment to build and regeneration to feed. The blinders
are off in this area of your life and the ability to really make a
statement is here, now. Recreating that sense of true partnership will be
hard work but you are more than willing to take this on. Don’t look for
immediate results. Do look for the connection, the resolve and the support
you have wanted. The partnership will want the same from you. A tempering
will meld all of you together as a force to be reckoned with.
Capricorn (December 22 - January 19) –
Finances: : The first half of 2008 shows you picking up the
pieces of a fallen project. This doesn’t seem unusual to you so I would
venture to say this is an expected event, one that required you to do this
and that you had accepted earlier-probably something leftover from earlier
in 2007. The potential to begin anew in the financial arena is at hand.
This has a great deal of force behind it and seems to be rooted in a
subconscious process, something being honed and planned for a long time.
The cards show a sense of emotional satisfaction over this development. Do
look for some minor bumps in the transformational aspects of this process.
Relationship: Lot of players in your relationship sector for
2008. No great emotional attachments but plenty of entertainment -
sometimes entertainment is better than attachment so enjoy the show. A
need for reflecting further on this topic is highlighted. Yes, you’ve
been reflecting a lot you say but have you taken a look at the structure
you give yourself in relationships? Consider each door and window, each
surface and plane that needs to be nurtured in a relationship. Connections
are 3-d and in some cases they are 4 and 5-d. It’s the 4 and 5-d type
that intrigue you, so what does that look like?
Career: The tempering has gone on long enough and 2008
gives you a reprieve from the burning flames that seem to eat up every
attempt you make at “making it”. Illusions about how to go about it
all shift and the “real” information starts pouring into your everyday
experiences. A whole host of characters get dumped along the way along
with the way you have approached living in general. Toward the end of 2008
a major shift in how you are being viewed by your peers paves the way for
the real change you want.
Aquarius (January 20 - February 19) –
Finances: Due to your emotional response you may experience
the need to jump right into the financial fray. Steady yourself and make
sure you are responding for the right reasons and in the right manner.
This energy is very fast moving and will send you forward even if you want
to stay still for a moment. Some of this may be out of your control as the
cards are showing a sudden ability to see the truth wrapped up in a
letting go of standing on the sidelines.
Relationship: Major transformations in your relationship sector
for 2008. Your internal strength and ability to discern will be
challenged. Are you seeing what is really going on or are you playing this
the way you want to believe it is. Both directions need to be rethought,
what does it mean to see what is really going on? And what is it you want
to believe instead? 2008 shows many decisions to be made in this area,
many decisions to reassess and the need to balance things out at the end
of everyday. Add a moment of reflection and meditation to the end of your
day and watch your relationships resolve issues and grow for the good of
all.
Career: Everything you learn in your relationships in
2008 will feed growth in your career. This means, pay attention to how you
can apply what you learn this year and watch your garden grow. Moments of
despair are part of the game so learn to recognize them for what they are
and you will pop right out of them very quickly. Consider that others are
planning a business that has your name written all over it and feel what
that would be like, to connect with like-minded people. Zoom!
Pisces (February 20 - March 20) – Finances: Creativity is called on to make the most of 2008
and its financial challenges. You are the person for this creative
endeavor. Know that some of what you must accomplish is done with out the
light of day shining on it and giving you the recognition you deserve. The
mental aspects of maneuvering that usually drive you nuts are easily
tackled and you actually see for the first time very clearly where it is
you need to go with your financial needs. A new relationship shows you how
this is done.
Relationship: The people you usually depend on are not on the
list of regulars this year. A whole new crop of faces and connections are
moving your way. This shift may have you puzzled for a while but you soon
figure out how to maneuver this new terrain. Look for structural changes
later in the year, toward September or so. Plant ideas now that you want
to sprout around late summer and this will give a sense of direction to
the events to come. New faces and new connections indicate new ideas and
directions to play off of. This is an entertaining year.
Career: The way you use to operate is blocked. This has
more to do with the way you use to think about operating, the dance you
use to do to make things happen. Although this tips the scales a bit you
are quite successful at landing a new gig so don’t fret just find a new
dance. It may take the full year to realize you are dancing differently
but when you put it all together you will already be in the middle of it
and it will be too late to change your mind without rocking the boat
pretty hard. The thing is, it is really what you have always wanted, you
jut don’t know how to recognize it.
