Secrets to Success - Getting Your Questions Answered

Did you know that your subconscious has the ability to answer all of your questions? In fact your subconscious answers your questions every moment of the day.

ARE YOU MAKING SUCCESSFUL ASSOCIATIONS?

...Unfortunately most of us aren't. We are taught at a very early age to ignore, cover up or deny the existence of a wise internal source of direction. We are given a set of social rules that often cause heartache and denial. As a result we follow life paths that are weakened, shallow, or just plain wrong for us. The good news is - all paths lead back to home. Yes, all paths. At any point in time we can choose to listen and make changes for the better. In doing so we have access to all of the information we have gleaned along the way and often we are better off for having had those wayward experiences.

MAKING THE CONNECTION

If you are ready to use your subconscious, here are some ways to facilitate a conversation with the divine part of self.

  •  A Dictionary – Focus on your issue or question and randomly open a dictionary. Without looking down, point to a place on the page. What is the word your finger has landed on? Choose the word being defined and not the word within the definition your finger may have landed on. Consider the word in the context of your question. Some words cannot be taken at face value but should be said out loud, written down or broken into more than the single word. Is it an action word, a name, an adjective – all could mean something in the context of your question.

  • A Favorite Book – Use this one the same way you would use a dictionary but put a spin on this one by reading whole passages, sentences or phrases and consider them in the context of your question.

  • Animals – Often when a person is working through an issue, there will be a particular animal or family of animals that make their presence known by showing up in dreams, conversations, visual images, television programs, etc. The animal will make its presence known to you through repetition. Investigate, find out what that animal is about – their habits, their strengths, their weaknesses. There are many sources to collect this information from. Many Native American websites and books about this particular subject will give you information about animal totems. Investigate more than one cultures ideas about the animal.

  • Repetition – Anything that repeats in threes or more can be considered a sign of subconscious communication. This can happen with words, numbers or images. Repetition is how the advertising and marketing world has captured our focus. Why wouldn’t your subconscious use the same tool to get you to pay attention too? If you really want to stretch this one you can recognize anything repeating in pairs but honestly that could drive you batty. Best to stick with three or more and pace yourself!

INTERPRETATION IS THE KEY

The key to connecting to your divine nature is interpretation. Several problems arise with interpretation.

First, knowing how to interpret their deepest meaning can take a lifetime of study.

Second, the Ego ultimately wants control over the subconscious and therefore will lie to us to get and keep control. So interpreting for yourself requires vigilance over the Ego. Not an easy task and one that, again, takes knowledge and study to accomplish. Some rules may help with interpreting. 

  1. Don't jump to wild conclusions. They usually prove to be just that, wild conclusions.

  2. Consider professional help when tackling the stickier problems of life.

  3. Keep these connections as guideposts and for light hearted consideration.

  4. Allow yourself to see another perspective. It doesn't mean you have to believe in it, it just means you are willing to see life from all angles.

Next time you are faced with a twisted situation, try one of these connecting points for a different point of view. Just remember your ability to glean factual, pertinent information is only as good as your ability to interpret the meaning of the response.
